Ride Free M.P. (2016-2023)

Marie-Pier Quenneville or better known as M.P was a dedicated rider in and outside of the saddle. She knew that riding Includes brushing your horse, cleaning up after them and giving them lots of treats. She would even stay well after her lesson to help coach Ashley with all the stalls. She was and still is very much part of A.C. Equestrian. This sweet little girl was a beacon of light and her smile was infectious. I remember asking her to show me her best smile right before she went into her first show. I told her that she had the winning smile and that's what she needed to show the judges. Her smile was ear to ear and she even smiled with her eyes. She did just that, she went into that ring with that beautiful smile. And she came out with 3 ribbons at her very first show. Little did we know it but that would be her last show. M.P. was diagnosed with leukemia only a short time later and passed away at the age of 7. Her celebration of life was held at Oxford Ridge Stables her favorite place (A.C. Equestrian)surrounded by all her loved ones including all of the A.C. Equestrian family and her favorite 2 horses Missy and Lilly. To celebrate and remember our dear sweet friend M.P we do something that she also loved to do. We come together to paint rocks and share memories. Another thing you should know about M.P. is that her favorite colors are purple and teal. A fathers promise was also kept as we welcomed Major Pain to our team November 16th 2023. Although M.P is not here physically, we know she is here with Major, his rider Michaella, and his entire team. M.P is always with us, with every ride and every show.
